Magical Thailand Holidays
"So which of your Thailand Holidays was your favourite?" My family has been asked that question so many times. I have lost count of the amount of Thai Holidays we have been on, but every one was a real treat!
The problem is that here are so many great places to visit that you will get torn between going back to them and discovering another hidden jewel! We went to Rim Pae Beach, near the more famous town of Rayong for the first time in November 2009, it was until now one of the few beaches we have not discovered, and let me tell you we were absolutely blown away by the sunsets! So, why are we writing this page? We want to help you plan your future Thailand holidays by giving you the benefit of our experiences (and that of our readers)- We can recommend some great places you can travel to. The reviews we write are totally unbiased and independent
- We supply the information so you can decide for your self the most suitable option
- We can (and do) recommend some high quality information websites that show more detail on Thailand, some fantastic holiday ideas and wonderful beaches. This information will supplement anything you find on our Thailand Travel guide
- We can recommend some of the 'trusted' booking agencies. We will only recommend agencies that we have used ourselves and found to give a high quality level of service... AND after sales service
- We give YOU, the reader a chance to recommend your own favourite Thai resort on the submission form below
- Above all else.... we love to write about Thailand and our experiences and we want to share them!
So...... enough of the pre-amble and lets get down to business. These resorts and cities are our favourites! If you want to know what it is like to travel there, select a place that takes your fancy to see what we have to say.
| Koh Samui - Only 25 years ago this was a little known back-packers paradise and is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Thailand. | | | Phuket - Arguably the most famous of all Thai Resorts. Phuket has everything from the bustling resort of Patong to the quieter and refined 5 star Beach Hotels | | Bangkok - The bustling capital city of Thailand and a must for any shoppers or city lovers. Being the home of Thailand's major international airport; Suvarnabhumi, makes Bangkok is great place to begin or end your Thailand holidays. | | | Krabi - Reckoned by many to have the most dramatic coastal scenery in Thailand and who are we to disagree? Krabi is an ideal resort for the more refined travellers | | Rayong - Rayong has enough great beaches to keep you busy for a while. The coastline is geared more towards the 'relaxed' holiday, and many Thais prefer to take their breaks in this area. We saw some great sunsets in Rim Pae | | | Chiang Mai - If you are looking for culture then read our Chiang Mai Thailand Travel Guide. The city is the gateway to Northern Thailand and a must for anyone who wants to explore Thailand's rich history | | Pattaya - Open your eyes, get ready for the action! One of Thailand's most famous resorts is changing.... slowly | |
Top tipPlanning your activities - When you get to your destination you will want to plan your holiday. All the major hotels have booking office where you can plan your excursions. There are also an abundance of booking offices in every resort where you can usually negotiate a better rate for your trip.
